The compact explosion-proof weather station is an integrated monitoring device designed specifically for chemical plants and oil depots. It combines data collection, storage, communication, and display functions into a single unit. Featuring a robust design that is corrosion-resistant, explosion-proof, waterproof, shock-resistant, and dust-proof, it monitors wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure in real-time, transmitting data via cable to an explosion-proof display screen.

Developed in response to market demand, this integrated weather monitoring station is tailored for flammable and explosive environments such as chemical plants and oil depots. It consolidates data collection, storage, communication, and display capabilities, using wired communication to transmit monitoring data directly to an explosion-proof screen for real-time viewing. With its high-protection design—resistant to corrosion, explosions, water, shock, and dust—the device ensures stable, long-term operation in hazardous environments like chemical plants, oil depots, tunnels, and mines.

The station utilizes a concealed ultrasonic sensor located under the top cover to minimize measurement interference caused by accumulated rain or snow and wind obstruction. It employs continuous variable-frequency ultrasonic signals to measure wind speed and direction by analyzing relative phase shifts. By integrating wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure sensors into a single unit, the device simplifies on-site installation. Monitoring data is transmitted via the RS232 protocol to an explosion-proof display screen composed of nine P10 modules, creating an active display area of 1 meter by 0.5 meters, allowing personnel on-site to easily read real-time weather information.

The station offers high-precision monitoring across all parameters: wind speed measurement ranges from 0 to 60 m/s with a resolution of 0.01 m/s; wind direction ranges from 0 to 360° with a resolution of 1°; air temperature ranges from -40 to 80°C; air humidity ranges from 0 to 100% RH; and atmospheric pressure ranges from 300 to 1100 hPa. The unit features a built-in storage module capable of saving at least 500,000 data records, and the total power consumption of the device is 202 W. The manufacturer holds certifications for ISO quality, environmental, and occupational health management systems, possesses computer software registration certificates, and holds a high-level Ex ia IIC T6 Ga explosion-proof certification; the company is also rated as a 3A-level credit enterprise. The complete unit complies with the GB3836.1-2010 standard (General requirements for equipment in explosive atmospheres) and the GB3836.4-2010 standard (Intrinsically safe protection); both the circuitry and the enclosure meet intrinsic safety requirements, ensuring no risk of ignition during operation in hazardous areas containing explosive gases. Suitable for deployment in environments such as chemical tank farms, fuel depots, and underground tunnels, the system continuously delivers stable and reliable meteorological monitoring data, providing essential environmental data to support safety management within the facility.
