1、Precision Snow/Rain Gauge Measurement Principle:
Precision Snow/Rain Gauge uses high-precision electronic weighing principle to measure all types of precipitation, and can measure rainfall intensity and evaporation of rainwater.Precision Snow/Rain Gauge uses a C6 high-precision sensor to weigh precipitation by dividing it into water weight/water density/catchment area = precipitation amount (water depth). It can measure any type of solid/liquid and mixed precipitation, with a full-range measurement accuracy of 0.1mm.
2、Precision Snow/Rain Gauge Instrument Functions:
2.1 The instrument integrates data acquisition, processing, solid-state storage, and remote transmission control functions. It features a built-in intelligent heating system at the port to ensure real-time and accurate measurements.
2.2 Self-detection: Automatically monitors for signal damage and component aging in instrument components.
2.3 Self-diagnosis: Automatically detects equipment status and locates and alarms for abnormalities.

3、Precision Snow/Rain Gauge Instrument Structure
To ensure the vertical stability of the force measurement system, Precision Snow/Rain Gauge adopts a structure with separate inner (electronic weighing unit) and outer (protective casing) components, each independently grounded. The high-strength stainless steel outer protective casing resists all external interference, including wind, ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the electronic weighing unit inside. The instrument height is 0.7m, the same as the height of a manual observation rain gauge, ensuring consistent monitoring data with historical data. No windproof ring is required, and the airflow pattern remains unchanged (consistent with the watershed), ensuring representative monitoring data.
